Mr. Adha is a seasoned expert in the adjustment and strategic management of diverse Motor and Non-Motor claims portfolios. His proficiency spans critical areas, including Motor Property, Motor Liability, and Non-Motor classes. He offers specialized knowledge that covers the full spectrum of risk. A hallmark of his distinguished career is the successful mitigation of loss achieved through the meticulous investigation and resolution of numerous fraudulent claims on behalf of insurers and legal professionals, showcasing his sharp analytical and forensic skills.
In his current capacity, he provides crucial leadership, guiding a team of adjusters who specialize in the investigation and adjustment of motor claims, thereby ensuring the consistent delivery of accurate, efficient, and high-quality outcomes. Jane Huang Swee Lin, LL.B (Hons), CLP, AMII

Chief Executive Officer

With over three decades of experience in Malaysia’s insurance sector, Jane Huang stands as a respected authority in claims management, legal oversight, and operational governance. She oversees the end-to-end management of all claims operations for both insurers and reinsurer across general insurance companies—covering motor and non-motor portfolios—and ensures that every claim is handled with technical accuracy, fairness, and integrity.
At the heart of Jane’s leadership philosophy lies partnership. She works hand-in-hand with adjusters, loss surveyors, investigators, and legal specialists, recognising them as vital extensions of the claims process. Her emphasis on transparent communication, timely information exchange, and evidence-based assessment enables insurers to deliver fair, efficient outcomes that protect clients’ interests.
Jane’s remit covers both strategic direction and operational execution. She reviews and approves complex claims, sets reserve policies, pursues recoveries, and advises the Board of Directors on legal exposures and regulatory compliance. She also chairs the company’s monthly performance meetings, ensuring that service standards, closure rates, and cost-management targets are consistently met. Under her guidance, insurers have implemented digital transformation initiatives, including the integration of e-claims platforms and data-imaging systems that streamline workflows and enhance transparency for all stakeholders including brokers and adjusters.
Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Jane represented insurance companies at key industry bodies such as the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB), the Malaysia Motor Insurance Pool (MMIP) and Insurance Services Malaysia (ISM). As an EXCO member of the National Insurance Claims Society (NICS), she contributes to policy discussions and best-practice standards across Malaysia’s insurance ecosystem particularly in claims efficiency, fraud detection, and dispute resolution.
Jane’s professional journey includes senior leadership roles with Progressive Insurance Berhad, QBE Malaysia and Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad, where she led high-performing teams and developed claims frameworks that balanced financial prudence with customer care. Her background as a qualified lawyer (LL.B (Hons); Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) gives her an added advantage in interpreting legal and contractual nuances within claims and coverage issues.
Throughout her career, Jane has been recognised for her collaborative leadership, sound judgment, and commitment to professional ethics. She believes that successful claims management is not just about resolving losses but about reinstating confidence between insurer, adjuster, and policyholder alike.

Michael Chang Yen Tung

Chief Operating Officer

Michael Chang is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at ZAMA Adjusters & Investigators Sdn Bhd. He is a highly accomplished insurance professional with a career spanning over three decades, beginning in April 1993. His expertise is rooted in a unique blend of hands-on loss adjusting and high-level corporate claims adjudication experience, ensuring that internal operations align with the firm’s strategic goals and technical standards.
Before assuming his current strategic leadership position at ZAMA, Michael gained extensive experience working directly within the corporate structures of major general insurers. He held executive roles overseeing the management of complex claims portfolios, including Motor Theft, Own Damage, and Third-Party Property Damage (TPPD), for companies such as Tenaga Insurance , Hong Leong Assurance , Asia Insurance , Tokio Marine Insurance , and ACE Synergy Insurance. During this period, he was instrumental in managing reinsurance claims, overseeing recovery processes, and conducting specialized investigation work.
His comprehensive background includes significant experience as a Senior Adjuster and Editor in the adjusting sector. Michael’s technical proficiency is robust, encompassing the surveying and inspection of specialized heavy commercial vehicles such as mobile cranes, prime movers, and side loaders. This technical depth, combined with his experience in supervising staff and handling general administration, positions him as a strong operational leader who oversees the firm’s daily functions and ensures strict quality control and technical excellence.

Sam Michael - ANZIIF (Senior Associate)

General Manager – Business Development

Sam Michael is a highly seasoned insurance professional whose career spans over four decades. He launched his journey in 1978 as a Marine Manager, quickly establishing a foundation in specialty risk. Demonstrating exceptional growth and leadership, he significantly expanded his portfolio over twenty years, eventually ascending to the position of Head of Broking, giving him high-level experience across and management oversight of all classes of business.
His commitment to continuous professional excellence and regional insight is evident through his consistent attendance at specialized underwriting and marketing seminars. These seminars, held in major regional hubs including Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, and Japan, have equipped him with a strong international perspective crucial for leading business development strategies.

Chris Lean Jun Yi - CMII, ANZIIF (Affiliate CIP)

General Manager – Motor Property

Chris Lean Jun Yi is a highly experienced claims professional with 19 years of hands-on experience in the adjusting field. His specialization is concentrated in handling and managing Motor Property claims, alongside proven expertise in theft investigations and non-motor claims.
His career is built upon a solid technical foundation, beginning with a Certificate in Computer Studies and a Basic Certificate in Insurance Loss Adjusting (BCCILA). He has consistently enhanced his knowledge through ongoing professional development, including attending various specialized courses conducted by the Motor Resource Consortium.
Mr. Chris Lean’s commitment to formal professional accreditation is evidenced by his achievement of the Certified Motor Insurance Investigator (CMII) designation and the ANZIIF (Affiliate CIP) certification, demonstrating his adherence to the highest industry standards.

Hairy Bin Darus

Assistant General Manager – Motor Liability & Bodily Injury

Hairy Bin Darus possesses a formidable foundation of academic qualifications spanning several decades, including a Diploma in Business Management (Insurance) from UITM in 1979, a Diploma from the Australia Insurance Institute obtained in 1985, and a Diploma in Syariah Law from UIA in 2000.
He brings an exceptional career trajectory with more than 50 years of experience across both the Insurance and Takaful industries. His career began in the Insurance sector in 1975, where he joined Tugu Insurance Sdn. Bhd. as a Supervisor in the Motor Claims portfolio. He later served a significant tenure at Aetna Insurance Company, starting in 1983 and continuing until 1995, where he held the position of Head of General Claims Department.
Mr. Hairy subsequently transitioned his expertise to the Takaful Industry. From 1995 to 2002, he joined Takaful National Sdn. Bhd. as a Head of General Claims, achieving the position of Senior Manager. Following this, he joined Takaful Ikhlas from 2003 to 2010, where he successfully headed the Family Claims Department as an Assistant Vice President.
Although he officially retired from the Industry in May 2010, he immediately extended his acquired knowledge and experience by joining A.I.M.S Adjusters (M) Sdn. Bhd. from May 28, 2010, to August 31, 2025, serving as the Deputy CEO. Bringing his comprehensive background to ZAMA Adjusters, he now serves as the Assistant General Manager of Motor Liability & Bodily Injury.

Ong Seng Leong

Senior Manager – Motor Liability & Non-Motor

Ong Seng Leong brings a robust blend of legal expertise and specialized claims management experience to the team. A highly qualified professional, he graduated with an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of London (external).
He began his professional career in 1997 as a Civil Litigator, providing him with a strong understanding of legal proceedings and liability issues. In 1999, he transitioned into the insurance industry, joining MAA Assurance Berhad as an Assistant Manager attached to the crucial Third-Party Bodily Injury Unit in the Claims Department.
Mr. Ong has since built a comprehensive career portfolio, holding key roles at several prominent insurance companies, including The Pacific Insurance Berhad, Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad, and Tune Protect Malaysia. Prior to re-entering the insurance management sector with Tune Protect Malaysia in 2018, he utilized his claims expertise by working with an investigation firm that served various General Insurance companies across the industry. This diverse background allows him to manage complex cases across both Motor Liability and Non-Motor portfolios.

Kelvin Wong Kang Jee

Regional Manager, East Malaysia - Motor Property

Kelvin Wong brings a dynamic and multi-faceted background to his role, combining claims expertise with valuable commercial and management experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, providing him with a strong analytical foundation, and also possesses the Basic Certificate in Insurance Loss Adjusting (BCCILA) from the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII).
He began his adjusting career early, working actively from 2005 until 2012. During this period, he gained practical, hands-on experience across multiple claims lines, including Motor Own Damage (OD) claims, Motor Investigations, and various Non-Motor claims.
Following his initial period in claims, Mr. Wong spent 10 years in the sales line, where he was responsible for handling and managing distributors. This experience honed his skills in regional management, client relations, and operational strategy—capabilities essential for his current leadership role.
Leveraging this specialized mix of technical and commercial skills, he successfully resumed his adjusting career in 2022. His current leadership as Regional Manager, East Malaysia – Motor Property allows him to apply his deep claims knowledge and management acumen to oversee complex motor property portfolios across the region.

Marzianah Binti Musa

Manager - Motor Property

Marzianah Binti Musa is a dedicated and highly valued member of the ZAMA team, boasting an impressive tenure with the company since 1996. Her career illustrates strong internal progression and commitment to the firm’s operational excellence.
She began her journey as an Administrative Support Assistant for the Motor Liability and Non-Motor Department. Through continuous hard work and dedication, she steadily advanced, achieving the role of Administrative Executive before being promoted to Manager in 2016 within the Motor Property Department.
With 30 years of extensive working experience, Marzianah provides indispensable administrative support to core business operations. Her crucial expertise lies in monitoring compliance, ensuring that all adjusters meet required standards and that the business adheres strictly to the compliance requirements mandated by ZAMA’s clients.

Md Mursyidi Bin Md Zyadi

Manager - Motor Property

Md Mursyidi is a highly accomplished and exceptionally loyal professional, having dedicated his entire 20-year career exclusively to ZAMA Adjusters & Investigators Sdn Bhd. His deep institutional commitment began in July 2006, when he joined the firm as a Trainee Adjuster. He quickly transitioned into his formal adjusting role within the Motor Property Department in January 2007, marking the start of a consistent and impactful upward trajectory within the company.
Md Mursyidi’s advancement within ZAMA reflects his mastery of complex claims handling and consistent performance. He earned a promotion to Senior Adjuster in 2016 and was subsequently elevated to the position of Manager in 2018. In his current capacity, he leverages nearly two decades of intensive, practical experience in the investigation, assessment, and reporting of Motor Property claims. This continuous tenure ensures he possesses an unparalleled understanding of ZAMA’s operational standards, regulatory requirements, and the technical intricacies required to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. He is a reliable and seasoned leader, instrumental in maintaining the high standards of expertise within his department.

Gunalan A/L Muniandy

Manager – Motor Liability

Gunalan is an experienced loss adjusting professional with over two decades of hands-on expertise in motor liability and investigation-related claims. His career spans across multiple established adjusting firms, where he has developed strong technical capabilities in both operational management and complex claims handling.
He specializes in Bodily Injury (BI) claims, Theft investigations, Own Damage (ODI) assessments, Third Party Property Damage (TPPD) investigations, and Personal Accident (PA) claims. His strength lies in handling complex and suspicious cases, particularly involving fraudulent claims, where his investigative approach and analytical assessment contribute significantly to effective loss mitigation.
Throughout his career, Gunalan has held key leadership roles, including Head of Investigation Department and Operational Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing departmental operations, monitoring adjuster performance, ensuring compliance, and managing report quality. He has extensive experience in liaising with insurers and solicitors, conducting departmental planning, and driving monthly performance targets. His previous role as Northern Regional Manager further strengthened his capability in managing multi-branch operations and regional claim portfolios.
Gunalan holds the Basic Certificate Course in Insurance Loss Adjusting (BCCILA) and is an active member of the Association of Malaysian Loss Adjusters (AMLA) and the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII). He is currently pursuing the Associateship of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII), reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and industry excellence.
